Softly, The Days of Early Autumn

Instant Film Gallery, Page 2

Early spring may be the bleakest time of year, but early autumn is one of the most beautiful.  For many people, the changing of ordinarily-green leaves to vivid shades of yellow, orange and red is a very special occasion.  Nothing else in nature is quite like autumn.

Those clear, sunny afternoons in late September have an almost dreamy aspect.  This gallery accentuates the soft quality by use of instant film, which has a very low acutance (probably, that's also a result of the cameras that shoot instant film;  they tend to have fixed-focus lenses).

I hope you enjoy this gallery.  These photos are available as 9"x12" prints, matted with two-inch white border and framed in 13"x16" black gallery frames.  (Order info / email me)
